Martin Smith – CEO and Founder

Martin is the CEO & Founder of MSJ Contracts. Carrying a background in carpentry & joinery he founded MSJ back in 2001.

Since taking a back seat from the management side of MSJ Contracts, Martin guides the young prospects Ian and Connor with experience and knowledge.

Martin takes great pride in the growth of MSJ Contracts and enjoys his well-deserved retirement, drinking tea in the office and visiting the sites to keep the team in line.

Ian Smith – Managing Director

Ian is the Managing director of MSJ Contracts and carries a background in carpentry and joinery. After following in Martin’s footsteps, Ian took over directorship back in 2014.

With an incomparable passion towards his work, Ian carries an experienced vision behind the running of MSJ with over 25 years in the construction industry managing large & medium-sized contracts & projects.

Still holding a very hands-on approach, Ian is a massive force, a great project manager & the backbone of MSJ Contracts.

Connor Smith – Director

Connor joined MSJ Contracts as a director back in 2018. He is a dynamic part of the growth of MSJ and carries a strong sales background.

With an energetic hardworking approach, Connor is a very hands-on part of the team, striving to follow in the footsteps of both Ian & Martin.

Since being taken under the wing of his father Ian, Connor has taken control of the next generation of the company and is growing into a fantastic project manager.
